(HFG) is pleased to announce its 3rd Annual Walk Against Domestic Violence to raise awareness and funds to help GTA women and children who have experienced domestic abuse as they move forward towards leading lives free from abuse. WHAT: Talk is Cheap, Walk the Talk 3rd Annual Walk Against Domestic Violence
WHEN: Sunday May 15, 2016
Registration starts at 9:30 am, walk ends at 2:30 pm
WHERE: Harbourfront Community Centre
627 Queen Quay West (at Bathurst) in Toronto
WHY: To raise awareness of the prevalence of domestic violence
To raise funds to help support GTA women and children who have experienced abuse as they move towards leading lives free from abuse.
All monies raised will be used to provide support to GTA women and their children who have experienced abuse.
HOW: Walk, run or bike 5 km or 7.5 km west along the Martin Goodman Trail
COST: Adults $30, Children up to 15 years and seniors $15
Free T-shirt for all participants
Who are we? HFG is a not-for-profit organization that provides free, ongoing support to women and children across the Greater Toronto Area who have experienced abuse.
